On location, as far afield as London ,Tokyo, Cannes and New York as well as in Sandra’s birthplace, the Outer Hebrides, eminent photographers, John Swannell, Janette Beckmann, and Lloyd Bishop created the images of Sandra’s evolving collection.
Puffball Dress
Puffball dress can be made bespoke in taffeta, tartan with lace or guipure. Pictured here in jade Italian silk shantung overlaid with black silk embroidered tulle and lined in lavender pink Italian silk satin.
Kilt Frock Coat
Bias-cut and fringed fitted dress with nude silk georgette and tulle yoke, with long slim stretch jersey sleeves. Neckline adorned with tulle-covered pearls. Skirt embellished with wired taffeta ribbon. Silver lace cuffs, and invisible hook-and-loop front fastening. Kilt straps used to lift the train, creating a bustle. Tartan Frock Coat Dress
Asymmetric, bias-cut, double-breasted dress, lined with layers of soft tulle, featuring a long train. Embellished with black guipure lace, silk tulle and mother of pearl buttons. Polyester jersey fitted sleeves, kilt strap side fastening. Back kilt strap used to lift the train to create bustle. Full-length optional crinoline underskirt. Pictured in Dress Stewart Harris Tweed.
Orb Coat
Orb-inspired, Harris Tweed made, interlined with French embroidered tulle and nude silk organza. Hand-embellished with French wired taffeta ribbon and velvet buttons. Made to order in Harris Tweed only.
Luskentyre
Inspired by the colours and textures of Luskentyre, a village on Harris. Frock-coat dress, in Harris Tweed features fitted bodice and long train. Lined with layers of soft tulle Linen and silk organza yoke, blue velvet sleeves, draped wool guipure shoulder embellishment. Bronze zip front and mandarin collar. Adorned appliqué with black tulle polka dots.
Classical Column Dress
Slim, backless column dress with nude organza and lace centre panel, viscose jersey side panels and velvet back. Pictured in nude organza, gold and black French tulle, Italian matt jersey and silk velvet, with copper sequin halter collar.
Mermaid Dress
Traditional hourglass-shaped halterneck column dress, lined and interlined with silk and featuring layered tulle underskirt. Pictured in black Italian matelassé, lined in duck egg blue floral silk crêpe de chine and grey silk organza. Hand embellished with black bugle beads.
Summer Cocktail Dress
Halterneck dress in lace and printed silk crêpe de chine, ruched bodice with internal nude bra. Circular skirt in silk crêpe de chine and embroidered chiffon. Pictured in French burnt sienna embroidered silk chiffon over Italian floral silk print crêpe de chine.
Princess Dress
Fitted princess dress in French guipure and velvet, lined with nude silk georgette and featuring cutaway sleeves, deep front slash and ornamental feather motif. Pictured in lavender guipure lace with purple velvet and nude silk georgette lining. Hand-made velvet and feather corsage.
