Miniature Theatre de la Mode Ecosse

As an extraordinary showcase, ten handmade garments of affection, featuring the Hebridean photoshoot 2006, by Royal photographer John Swannell, were recreated by Sandra Murray, in miniature, on French mini-mannequins, during lockdown 20-21. In 2022, he photographed Theatre de la Mode, Ecosse.

The Collection was inspired by the French 1945-46 touring exhibit, Theatre de la Mode, crafted by top Paris Fashion Designers on miniature 1/3 human scale mannequins. The intention was to raise funds for war survivors and revive the fashion industry. Included in the collection, is the late Queen Elizabeth 11, 1999 ensemble. A trenchcoat design from 2005, features as a tribute to Alber Elbaz, the late Design Director of Lanvin and AZ Factory.
